TSR Newsletter: A Period of Unprecedented Growth
Three Month Anniversary of TSR & A Special Offer
July 1st (also Canada Day) marks three months of The Seaboard Review’s existence here on Substack. Like the plants and foliage here in Eastern Canada, TSR has seen unprecedented growth in such a brief period. What began as my “solo” venture turned out to be one others wanted to be part of. How could I say “no” to such enthusiasm?
As such, I have added the “TSR Team” and “Our Contributors” tabs above where you can see the folks who want to have a part in helping you to “discover the best in Canadian Literature” as our tagline says.1 It is exciting to have familiar faces working alongside me, such as Michael Greenstein, Heather McBriarty, Shannon MacLeod and Shawna Butler. Also, Alison Manley and Ian Colford have agreed to contribute reviews on a semi-regular basis.2 Look for reviews from other new contributors to come!
I have also witnessed a growth in subscribers, both paid and free and that has been very encouraging. So, to mark our 3rd anniversary, I am offering 20% off an annual subscription to new subscribers. Click the button below to take advantage of this time-limited offer.
To conclude, I want to thank everyone for your support: subscribing, liking, commenting, and sharing our posts on social media. It not only helps us to grow, but it helps the books and authors we are bringing to the fore.
Sincerely,
James M. Fisher
You may see reviews of international titles here, but we’re primarily focused on Canadian books, authors, and publishers.
Many of these names will be familiar to you from my former site, The Miramichi Reader.
